Out of This World!
In this session, we will explore a world beyond Earth. Kids will be encouraged to stretch their thinking and exercise their creativity as they learn about extra-terrestrial research and dive into a world of dreams and imagination!
Kids will have the opportunity to submit their artwork to a design competition for a patch that will fly to the International Space Station accompanying St. Petersburg College's Space Flight Student Experiment.
The Ice Age
We will travel in time and explore the Pleistocene, also known as the Ice Age. Kids will learn about the fascinating large mammals that roamed the continents at that time and are now extinct, such as Mammoth, Smilodon, Giant Beaver, Ground Sloth, etc.

Florida's Keystones
Keystone species are species that are pivotal to the maintenance of a natural community. In this session, we will explore the importance of these species and learn what species in Florida are considered keystone in our natural communities.
