This program provides instructional enrichment for home schooled children ages 5 to 11.
Each session includes five 1.5 h classes including lessons and hands-on activities.

 

Program Description

In the fall semester 2024, kids will be learning ecology and how humans impact the natural world. We will start by learning about natural ecosystems, animal adaptations and evolution, then we will explore ways in which humans interact with nature, and finish the semester learning about actions that can be made to minimize our impact.

Florida Education Standards covered: SC.K.L, SC.1.L, SC.2.L, SC.3.L, SC.4.L, SC.5.L, SC.L.14, SS.1.G. SS.2.G,  SC.3.L.15, SC.1. L.17, S.C.2.L.17, S.C.4.L.17, S.C.5.L.17 and SC.1.E.6 and S.C.2.E.6.
