Kids enjoy the best of what The Art of Science has to offer. Our classes include a mix of science, art and social studies. Each class is 1.5 h long, where kids learn about a topic and make a hands-on project to take home. Our classes and projects work with essential life skills such as fine motor, critical thinking and problem-solving.

Session B

From Strange Creatures to Space:

Exploring Some Wonderful Mysteries of the World

This session will combine the exploration of strange creatures on Earth like Venus fly trap, strangler fig, black dragonfish, vampire bats and black widow spiders with the forefront of Space research. Students will make art and science projects, and will have the opportunity to submit artwork to a design competition for a patch that will fly to the International Space Station accompanying St. Petersburg College's Space Flight Student Experiment.
