Painting for Teens
Recommended age: 11-19 years old
Teacher: Amari' Williams
Join me in this super fun, relaxed classes for beginners and intermediate painters!
Each week, participants will complete one full acrylic painting on canvas while learning basic color mixing, blending, texture, creating contrast, brush selection and techniques, and anything else students need or show interest in.

Elements (5/16-6/13)
This session will cover important elements of painting: color, form, line, shape, space, texture and value.
Surrealism (6/20-7/25; except 7/4)
Surrealism portrays a wide array of themes of imagination, choices of colors, and various art techniques. During this session, students will learn how to use dream-like scenes and symbolic images to compose a wild and eccentric piece of art.
