Studio Art with Brian
Recommended age: 10-16
In this class, students will learn and practice a variety of art techniques including painting, printmaking, collage, and sculpture. Students will create their own prints, and make a fun painting on canvas. Students will also learn book binding techniques, and make and decorate their own sketchbook with their drawings.
So, young artists, are you ready for the most mind-bending, paint-splattering, sculpture-shaping, sketchbook-storming adventure of your artistic lives? Buckle up for this class – where creativity knows no limits!
Brian Jacob has art degrees from Davidson College and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. He taught art for 12 years in public and private elementary schools. His art skills include painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture and graphic design.
